Qualification Structure

To achieve this qualification, learners must complete:

• Five (5) mandatory units

Learners will be assessed based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) and must compile a Portfolio of Evidence demonstrating their competence. A qualified assessor will guide them through the process.

Assessment & Learning Hours

• Total Qualification Time (TQT): 520 hours (including independent study and practical work)
• Minimum Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 274 hours (including direct instruction and supervised assessment)

Career Progression & Industry Recognition

Upon completion, learners will have the skills, knowledge, and industry recognition required to progress in timber frame erection. Further training and experience can support career advancement into supervisory or management roles.
